Graduate!

Actually, I’m not quite a graduate, but since I’m going to be leaving for a cruise immediately following my graduation, this will have to suffice.

I’m graduating in 4 stinkin’ hours! I have to give my speech in about 4 and a half, since it takes 30 minutes just to get everyone to walk in. I’m a bit nervous, but you know you would be too faced with 3,000 people to speak to. I just realized I’m speaking to 3,000 people!

At any rate, I don’t really have the nerves to be witty right now with my blog. I know, I know, some of you have come to expect it, but this time you shan’t have what you want. If this is as nervous as I’ll get, I’ll cope. If it’s a crescendo of nervousness, then I might be in trouble, because it’s 4 hours before I speak and I’m...quite nervous.

I don’t really know why one gets nervous. There is no reason to, really. I know my speech will be good, if I don’t get nervous. If I get nervous, it might not be so good. I know people will still respect me afterward. What is the reason for nervousness? I really don’t feel I have a reason to be nervous? Am I afraid what people will think? I don’t really feel that I am. It must be something more.

Bleh. I have this program called Subliminal Message Flash. It’s pretty nifty. I don’t normally use it much, but I put in a bunch of messages about confidence in my speech and speaking abilities. So, I guess we’ll see if the program lives up to the hype, and if subliminal messages are really effective.

Woo hoo! I’m done with high school! How cool is that? At any rate, if you worship some sort of deity, I would ask that you would pray to him for my sake. Unless you worship Satan. That could go badly.
