Pictures!

Today we went to the picture place and had Senior Pictures made! I have a number of pictures, and I'm going to make them all available to the masses on some as of yet unchosen place. There are better ones than this, but this is the best looking formal one. In a few of them, I looked gay. This is just an appearance, however. I will not be coming out of the closet any time soon.

I'll be waiting a while to do that.

But seriously, I promise not to be gay. And I try to not make promises that I can't keep, so unless it becomes terribly unavoidable, I will try to keep myself honest in that regard.

You know what sucks? I payed $12.95 for the disk so that I could put all these pictures on the web. $12.95! And they give me low resolution crap! I guess they don't want people buying pictures only to print them themselves and not pay the ridiculus prices that they charge normally. Did you know that they eeked out over $100.00 of us today? They have a package deal for like $6.89 which includes a few pages of one picture. Then they charged a ton of money for whatever you want on top of that. Normally we don't buy anything on top of the cheap deal, so I guess we're making up for lost time. Or money. But wouldn't we be making up for saved money in that case?

I suppose that what we spent wasn't really that bad, though, if you think about it. The same package from the school was a few hundred dollars more than what we spent. So, in total, we could have bought all the pictures in the world and still have saved money. Nice.

In other news, my studly photo (none of the ones you'll get to see, unfortunately, unless it's on the school website) was in the school newsletter this month. I am a National Merit Semifinalist. Apparently, I'm the first that the school has had in about a decade. And let's just say that this isn't a reflection of my smartitude.
